From May 21 to 22, 2026, the 9th Green Factory Facilities Conference and Exhibition for New Technologies and Equipment in Green Factory Design, Construction and Operation was successfully held at the Wuxi International Conference Center.

WISKIND Participates in the 9th Green Factory Conference

As a co-organizer of the event, WISKIND showcased its innovative green building solutions, including the HEYI Roof-PV System, and delivered a keynote presentation titled "Innovative Design and Technologies for Green Industrial Buildings under China's Dual-Carbon Goals." The presentation highlighted the latest innovations and practical applications within the metal building envelope industry to support the transition toward low-carbon industrial development.

Under the theme "Green Facility Management Empowering Energy-Efficient and Low-Carbon Transformation of Green Factories," the conference attracted representatives from nearly 10,000 enterprises and more than 300 industry experts. Covering advanced manufacturing and energy-intensive sectors, the event served as a platform for discussing industrial building decarbonization, energy efficiency, and the future development of green factories.

Turning Industrial Roofs into Energy Assets

At the exhibition, WISKIND's HEYI Roof-PV System attracted significant attention from industry professionals.

The solution integrates photovoltaic modules directly with the SR6® Standing Seam Roofing System, creating a highly efficient rooftop energy generation platform. Combined with WISKIND's self-developed PV White™ Light-Reflective Coating, which enhances the performance of bifacial solar modules, the system can increase power generation efficiency by up to 12%.

By transforming industrial roofs from passive energy-saving structures into active energy-producing assets, the solution provides manufacturers with a practical pathway toward renewable energy adoption, carbon reduction, and long-term sustainability.

Also on display was the BiTOP® Prefabricated Flexible Roofing System. Featuring factory prefabrication and rapid on-site installation, the system addresses growing demand for shorter construction schedules, reduced wet trades, and improved efficiency in industrial construction projects.

A New Framework for Green Industrial Buildings

During the concurrent Advanced Manufacturing Plant Structure Technology Forum, Xu Liang, Manager of the WISKIND Technical Center, delivered a presentation titled "Innovative Design and Technologies for Green Industrial Buildings under China's Dual-Carbon Goals."

The presentation proposed a comprehensive technical framework integrating:

  • Low-carbon building materials
  • Ultra-low-energy building envelope design
  • Building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV)
  • Smart operation and maintenance systems

Together, these elements form a metal building envelope solution built around three core pillars:

Passive Energy Efficiency + Renewable Energy Integration + Lifecycle Carbon Reduction

This framework redefines industrial buildings from traditional protective structures into energy-generating assets, providing manufacturers with a systematic pathway from energy conservation toward energy production. The concept resonated strongly with conference attendees and industry experts.

Driving Sustainable Manufacturing Through Practical Applications

Green Factory Conference

Jiangsu Welpump Smart Water Supply & Drainage Production and R&D Base

The project adopted the HEYI Roof-PV System, enabling on-site consumption of clean energy while enhancing overall building envelope performance.

National Grain Modern Logistics (Wuhan) Base Project

The project utilized WISKIND's cold storage enclosure system. Through environmentally friendly foaming technology, thermal insulation performance was improved while reducing energy consumption by 13.6%.

As a result, WISKIND became the first polyurethane cold storage sandwich panel manufacturer in Asia to obtain ISCC PLUS Certification.

QYSEA Optoelectronics Production Base, Foshan

The project adopted WISKIND's cleanroom enclosure system, whose detachable and reusable design helps reduce construction and demolition waste throughout the facility lifecycle.

At the manufacturing level, WISKIND's Shandong production base reduces carbon emissions by more than 1,900 tons annually and has been recognized as one of Shandong Province's first Provincial Green Factories.
